PETCO PARK {San Diego, California}

We started our day getting brunch with some friends at Breakfast Republic in Ocean Beach. There are several locations so if you are looking for a delicious spot to eat before a game, definitely hit them up. Lauren got the flight of pancakes and it was ridiculously good! Also, they have these wonderful drinks called "beermosas". Check 'em out!

After brunch we made our way to Petco Park in Downtown San Diego. Our game was on a Sunday so we got lucky and scored some street meter parking for FREE!!! On Sundays the meters are turned off so if you are attending a game on Sunday, definitely check for some open meter spots before you shell out money at a parking deck!

Getting into the stadium was pretty easy. Lines moved fast and the fans were cool. Once inside we made our way to the Toyota Terrace where Katelyn scored us some great seats! Pro tip...for afternoon games, sit along the third base line and you will be in the shade for the whole game! Not only were the seats amazing and nice and cool, we also had servers! We took advantage and ordered a few drinks from them so we wouldn't miss the game!

If you don't plan on drinking any adult beverages, make sure you stop by any Guest Services Center, the Designated Driver kiosks inside the Gaslamp or East Village Gates, or the Toyota Terrace Concierge Desk to sign the designated driver pledge. In return you will get a voucher for a free soft drink or water! Also, if it's your first visit to the park, swing by Guest Services located on the Field Level (Main Concourse) next to Section 108 and you will get a free 1st visit pin, SD squishy baseball and tattoos!

Ok after a few innings of fun we decided to venture out to see the park and grab some food! We had a ton of people suggest the trip-tip sandwich from Phil's BBQ as well as the trip-tip nachos from the Seaside Market. OK. Both were so amazing. The sandwich from Phil's was so huge and tasted SO GOOD. The nachos also hit the spot! Definitely try them out! San Diego is also known for their craft beers and the stadium did not disappoint! Lots of local brews to try out but you know we love our BUDLIGHTS!!!

Definitely plan on taking some time to walk around and check out all Petco Park has to offer. Along the 3rd base line there is the Western Metal Supply building where you can grab some food but also catch a great view from the balcony. The outfield has "park at the park" where you can bring a picnic and enjoy the game from the grassy area behind center field. There is also a ton of fun things for kids back there. When were were there, Petco was actually doing dog adoptions :) we of course had to stop and see the pups! They also have a Padres Hall of Fame Museum!

The Padres ended up losing but we had a great time at Petco Park! The stadium was clean and had great amenities. The staff and fans were so so helpful and so fun to sit with. We had a great experience and would give it a solid 10/10! Stadium #5 in the books!
