ANGELS STADIUM {ANAHEIM, CALIFORNIA}

"Baby, I Can Feel Your Halo.."

Hello, hello! Katelyn and Lauren spent Memorial Day grilling, eating and hanging out in Anaheim with the Angels. We wouldn't normally spend an off day or a holiday hanging in enemy territory but who can resist a good tailgate?!

We had a blast in Anaheim, and believe me, we tried not to enjoy it so much. We kicked off our game with a tailgate. On the menu was hotdogs, sausages, chips and a hamburger cake. No joke, it's a cake shaped like a hamburger. We had a blast parked with the other Angel's fans, drinking, listening to music and enjoying the warm LA weather.

After two hours of chilling and eating we walked up to the newly renovated and quite spectacular stadium. We snagged a few pics before entering the gates. We were both impressed by the short lines and super quick security.

As we walked to our field level seats (Thanks Lauren!) we were really impressed with the beers stands, speciality foods and awesome merch stands.

We even saw a guy make a hotdog for you from a mobile hotdog box... crazy.

Again, we really tried to not be so into this. stadium. When we got to our seats, we settled in and put on our Dodgers swag. The pre-game was chill. Some cool angel themed songs played and people seemed somewhat excited to be there. Overall we loved the stadium but the environment was lacking. No super cool media presentations, short walk-ups songs and the vibe was relaxed.

We were excited to split a few "ritas" while enjoying 9 innings. We also were amazed by the vendors who come to your seats.

Overall, great tailgating and super cool stadium but we missed the energy and vibe of our Dodgers. Stay tuned for our trip to the bay area in September!
